Information about Mayflower Place Condos

  • Sign-up for guest parking spots A, B and C is on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking spot A is located behind 233-235 Freeman Street along the Babcock Street driveway entrance. Parking spots B and C are located behind 231 Freeman Street along the Freeman Street driveway entrance. VISITORS MUST STAY WITHIN THE WHITE VISITOR PARKING LINES AT ALL TIMES OR ARE SUBJECT TO TOWING OTHERWISE. IF THERE ARE OBSTRUCTIONS (INCLUDING SNOW) IN THE VISITOR PARKING SPACES, IT IS THE VISITOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REMOVE SUCH OBSTRUCTIONS SUCH THAT THEY MAY VIEW AND PARK WITHIN THE WHITE VISITOR PARKING LINES.

  • Unit owners and/or tenants must sign up for guest parking spots via the Guest Parking Reservations system on the MPCA website. Instructions and additional details are provided later in this document.

  • Each unit owner and/or tenant shall have one laminated guest parking pass to hang from the rearview mirror of the visiting car. The guest parking pass includes the same identifiable number as the resident’s parking pass, consisting of the last digit of the building number plus the unit number. For example, the guest parking pass number for 229 Freeman Street #1 is "91." VISITORS MUST HANG THE GUEST PARKING PASS FROM THE CAR’S REARVIEW MIRROR. THE MPCA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TOWING OF CARS WITHOUT THE DISPLAY OF THIS PARKING PASS.

  • GUEST CARS MAY BE PARKED NO EARLIER THAN 12PM (NOON) ON THE DAY OF THE GUEST PARKING RESERVATION AND MUST BE MOVED NO LATER THAN 12PM (NOON) ON THE DAY FOLLOWING THE GUEST PARKING RESERVATION.

  • If you rightfully reserved a guest parking space and you find another car in the designated guest parking space, you must first contact the applicable other unit owner and/or tenant (identifiable by their resident or guest parking pass hanging from the rearview mirror of the other car) to inquire about the temporary situation. If you do not know their contact information, call a trustee. If you have tried and cannot directly reach the applicable other unit owner and/or tenant or a trustee, then please give the other owner and/or tenant the benefit of the doubt and try to find temporary parking for your car on the street in the interim. If you receive no response from the applicable other unit owner and/or tenant or trustee by 10pm, you may then attempt to have the other car towed.

  • If you rightfully reserved a guest parking space and you find another unidentifiable car (no resident or guest parking pass hanging from the rearview mirror) in the designated guest parking space, you can try to find temporary parking for your car on the street in the interim. Alternatively, you should try contacting Brookline Police to possibly identify the car or owner and/or tenant. If this course is unsuccessful, you may then attempt to have the unidentifiable car towed after 15 minutes.

  • No unit owner and/or tenant may reserve more than one guest spot per day.

  • No unit owner and/or tenant may reserve a guest parking space for more than 7 consecutive days in any 14-day period.

  • No unit owner and/or tenant may reserve a guest parking space for the same day of the week (e.g., Fridays) more than twice per four week period.

  • No unit owner and/or tenant may reserve a guest parking space more than 45 days per calendar year period.

  • If a guest parking space has not been reserved in the calendar for that evening by 10pm, any unit owner and/or tenant may reserve the guest parking space in the calendar regardless of the two latter restrictions.

  • If a guest parking space has been occupied by the same car beyond 7 consecutive days, contact a trustee who will have the car towed.

  • IN THE EVENT OF SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL (IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES) AND SNOW PLOWING IS REQUIRED, ALL GUESTS MUST MOVE THEIR CARS FROM THE GUEST PARKING SPACES UNTIL THE DRIVEWAY HAS BEEN PLOWED. IF THESE CARS ARE NOT PROMPTLY MOVED, THEY WILL BE TOWED AT THE GUESTS’ EXPENSE.
